How to marinade chicken


For the proportions:

Mesquite (2 lb chicken)

  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp salt
  • 1 tbsp pepper
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp mesquite smoke
  • 4 dashes worcheshire sauce (to taste)

BBQ chicken (2 lb chicken)

  • 1/2 cup bbq sauce)
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup (or honey or sugar)
  • 1/4 cup Apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 tbsp chili powder

Teriyaki (2 lb chicken)

  • 1/4 cup tamari sauce OR soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup (or honey or sugar)1 tbsp flour
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp ground ginger
  • pinch pepper

Basil balsamic

  • 2 lbs chicken breast
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 3 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tbsp dried basil
  • 1 tbsp sea salt
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced

Hawaiian

  • 2 lbs chicken breast
  • 1/2 cup pineapple juice
  • 3 tbsp tamari sauce or soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tbsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tbsp dried ginger
  • sea salt and ground pepper

Cilantro-lime

  • 2 lbs chicken breast
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 rbsp lime juice
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, finely chopped
  • sea salt and ground pepper

Fajita chicken

  • 2 lbs chicken breast
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup (or honey or sugar)
  • 2 Tbsp lime juice
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp cumin powder

Sesame chicken

  • 2 lb chicken breast
  • 3/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 3 tbsp sesame seeds toasted
  • 1 garlic clove
  • (Opt) crushed red pepper flakes
