Piglet's Big Movie - Movie Mistakes

  • Near the beginning when the Bee says "Get the little guy", Piglet is near a pile of sticks. When the Bees charge at him, the pile of sticks is gone.
  • In one scene, Rabbit picks three flowers. In the next shot, Rabbit gives all of the three flowers away and still has one for himself without ever having gone back to the bush to pick one more for himself.

Piglet's Big Movie - Trivia

  • After Winnie and Tigger try to distract Kanga by saying "is that a fish in that tree?", there is a new exterior shot of Piglet's house with some trees in the corners in the foreground. There is a fish in one of them.
  • John Fiedler has been the voice of Piglet for 35 years.

Editorial Reviews
Disney once again plunders the delightful Winnie-the-Pooh books for an animated movie, this one centered around the wee and insecure Piglet. Feeling unappreciated by his friends, Piglet wanders off into the Hundred Acre Wood; in his absence, Pooh, Eeyore, Tigger, and Rabbit reminisce about various adventures (including when Kanga and her baby Roo first arrived in their midst, and building a house for Eeyore) and begin to recognize Piglet's crucial contribution to their lives. Unfortunately for moviegoers, the gentle but sly whimsy of A.A. Milne's books has been turned into pure saccharine, which isn't helped by mediocre animation and appallingly bland songs (by Carly Simon, of all people). Even the most Pooh-worshipping kids are likely to find Piglet's Big Movie to be pretty small potatoes. --Bret Fetzer

Customer Reviews

Excellent movie with great values5
I have a two-year-old, and though i'm no TV advocate, I do let her watch PBS shows like Sesame Street & Curious George, and yes, full-length movies like Piglet's Big Movie. This is such a meaningful story, and my little one loves all the songs in it, and can hum along to some of them. Yes, there are some dark, sad moments, but as long as we are watching with them, and reassuring them through the sad bits,I don't see a problem. I have watched a lot of Pooh movies, and this is one of the best. The music and songs are catchy and uplifting, and the story itself has wonderful values for little ones, and everyone else.

What the heck is the password?5
For some reason, there is a parental lock on the special features on our DVD - I have to enter the password to unlock it. But what the heck is the password?! I'm the parent, yet I can't even unlock it, LOL. Can anyone help?

One of the best Winnie the Pooh movies!5
Of all the Winnie the Pooh movies my son and I have watched this is by far our favorite!
The plot is layed out in a very creative way. It sends a wonderful message. The story telling is fabulous.
Excellent film! We watch it over and over again!
